Braving the Island Roads

Nearing the end of our time in Praslin, Seychelles, we rented perhaps one of the smallest vehicles ever to independently tour the hilly island. Driving on the left side of the road, we headed to Valle de Mai, and UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the largest nut in the world, the coco de mer. The greenery was a big contrast to life in the desert. We also were able to get out of the resort for a meal before heading to a beach called Anse Lazio (which we were told was well known, even off the island). Ah, a sweet day of pure freedom!
