One of the great things about being in Abu Dhabi is the ability to quickly travel to other countries traditionally involving a 10+ hour flight. This past week we had our first taste of this advantage as we took a short vacation to Cairo, Egypt.<\/p>\n

Due to the sheer volume of pictures and videos we took on the trip, we are going to break up into multiple posts. (Don’t worry – we won’t bore you with the entire collection 700+…we’ll keep it brief!)<\/p>\n

This first installment is on the Pyramids of Giza. About a 20 minute ride from the center of Cairo, the Giza Pyramids are the most famous of all 111 known pyramids of Egypt – primarily because they are the best preserved. The Great Pyramid, the largest of the three, took over 20 years to build and is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (and the only one of the seven still standing). And of course along with the three pyramids is the Sphynx, which was certainly a little smaller than we thought it would be.<\/p>\n
