Well, sort of&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ok, so I haven&#8217;t physically been in the U.S. since September, but I was technically on American soil yesterday.  How you may ask?  Well, I had to go to the U.S. Embassy to add pages to my passport.  Strict security rules prohibited me taking any pictures or video to document the experience, but I still wanted to share.  The building is impressive and it really did feel good to see the American flag raised high.  But, sadly, most of the workers were locals and the interior was pretty plain so it wasn&#8217;t as nice a &#8220;homecoming&#8221; as I had hoped.  But oh well&#8230;.we&#8217;ll touch down in America soon enough!
