First up was our home base of Cape Town. We stayed in the V&#038;A Waterfront, but that was merely a jumping off point to what was an amazing region. Here are a few highlights of what we experienced in the city itself &#8211; from sky-high views to a &#8220;castle&#8221; fort and the beach!<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-2944 prison\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='http:\/\/tuckers.cc\/brian\/back-to-africa-in-cape-town\/img_3896\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" days\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='http:\/\/tuckers.cc\/brian\/back-to-africa-in-cape-town\/img_3122\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/tuckers.cc\/brian\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/IMG_3122-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-2970\"
