{"id":3223,"date":"2011-12-07T08:00:45","date_gmt":"2011-12-07T13:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tuckers.cc\/brian\/?p=3223"},"modified":"2011-12-05T06:19:10","modified_gmt":"2011-12-05T11:19:10","slug":"gentlemen-start-your-engines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/tuckers.cc\/brian\/gentlemen-start-your-engines\/","title":{"rendered":"Gentlemen, start your engines!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, <a href=\"http:\/\/tuckers.cc\/brian\/2010\/11\/15\/the-race\/\" target=\"_blank\">last year<\/a> we had a great time at the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1 race &#8211; VIP seats and the thrill of knowing that the 2010 championship was on the line.  But how would this year compare?  After all, Sebastian Vettel had wrapped up the 2011 championship weeks prior.  <\/p>\n<p>But this year, Megan and I actually got to watch the final race (we only saw qualifying day last year). It was thrilling in the first five minutes when Vettel spun out of a turn and ended up withdrawing from the race after his car got messed up. And, equally fun was watching winner Lewis Hamilton celebrate his victory.
