On the weekends, it&#8217;s a popular place for people to hang out at the beach, grab some food or lounge in the grassy park along the street opposite the beach.<\/p>\n<p>We haven&#8217;t been to an actual beach yet &#8211; still way too hot for my taste (over a 100 degrees during the day despite the locals saying how much its &#8220;cooled off&#8221;), but this particular beach has two distinct sections: one for women and families and the other for single men.  If Megan didn&#8217;t accompany me to the beach, I&#8217;m not sure which side I would be expected to stay.
