Though we packed in several sites with just one weekend in Jordan, our first home base was all about relaxation. The Movenpick Dead Sea Resort had a “tucked away” feel, with its namesake body of water the big draw.<\/p>\n

Being in the Dead Sea was like no other experience. The water was undeniably salty – yes – but it almost felt spongy and gave a bit of resistance as we tried to stay upright. We took advantage of the healing mud and minerals, used in the resort’s spa as well of course, to recharge for our last several weeks before the big move home. All in all, a pretty cool experience!<\/p>\n
