As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a professional baseball player. I paid my dues – my brother, David, and I played in countless organized leagues, studied every stat on baseball cards and even religiously watched “The Baseball Bunch<\/a>“. But it was not to be. Or so I thought…<\/p>\n

Fast forward a few years<\/del> decades later, and I finally got to live out that dream. Well, sort of. Thanks to a few good connections, David and I got a nearly all-access experience at Nationals Park participating in fantasy batting practice. From the moment we stepped into the locker room and were greeted with custom jerseys, neither of us could wipe the smile from our faces. And despite not playing in quite a while, we both held our own. And as an added bonus, we both could get out of bed the next day!<\/p>\n
