Christmas in the Big Apple

The boys’ first NYC Christmas did not disappoint with a trip to see the Radio City Rockettes, some window shopping and other fun that’s uniquely New York! Here are some highlights…

Hoops with Friends

Colin was in 7th heaven for his 7th birthday – a basketball-themed party with friends and cousins! It was a solid 90-minutes of activities and team play, followed by a healthy dose of pizza and cake. What could be better? Happy birthday, C!

Fiesta 5K 2019

Another year, another Fiesta 5K in support of ALS research! Team Big Walt and Mike showed up in full force to remember and honor 3 great men, once again finishing in the top 10 of fundraisers. While the commentary wasn’t as interesting as last year, Colin’s determination was just as strong – and he shaved…

It’s Turkey Day!

It was our second time hosting Thanksgiving, and we seem to be hitting our stride. We were so prepared that our kitchen sink decided to clog Wednesday night just to keep things interesting (it was fixed Friday). Nevertheless, everyone enjoyed some quality time and good food around the table. Until next year! And to kick-off…

On the High Seas

While we’ve covered our pirate themed adventures before, we have yet to capture time as pirates closer to home. It was our second trip on the Potomac, and even better as O was able to experience all the fun. Here are some of the highlights!

The Graduate

It’s so hard to believe, but Colin’s time at daycare is soon coming to an end. What began in Infant Class 2 will end in K-Prep with Ms. Jen, Mr. Rafi and Ms. Leandra in August. But before summer camp began in full swing, we celebrated graduation season with a night honoring the soon-to-be-Kindergartners.

Fiesta 5K in 2018

For the 5th year in a row, we’ve had the opportunity to participate in the Fiesta 5K to support the Johns Hopkins Packard Center for ALS research. Colin was in a competitive mood and determined to finish first for Team Big Walt and Mike (he succeeded with a time of 48 minutes and 31 seconds)….

White Christmas!

While there has been snow on the ground in Christmases past, I can’t remember the last time I woke up on Christmas morning to falling snow. So amazing! The day only got better as the boys opened their presents and spent another fun-filled afternoon with family!

On the Move!!

Well, it finally happened! After weeks of standing and the occasional step, Owen finally figured out how to put one foot in front of the other. Heaven help us!
