Two of the fifteen dusted off their diving certifications to head about 60-70 feet underwater and explore sea life in Destin. We visited the main Destin Bridge site, sunken to create an artificial reef in the 70s, as well as the East and North Bridge sites, which were teeming with fish, corals and other creatures.

Photos on the Beach
We used time together in Destin for a family photo shoot. We managed to get nearly 400 photos in 40 minutes as the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. Some participants were easier to work with than others, but all the family came home with some great shots!
At Home at Destin
Summer vacation got an upgrade with a big house next to the beach in Destin, FL! The clear water was a nice respite from the hot, hot sun. Here are some beach highlights!
A Penn-tastic Weekend
We’re lucky to have fabulous friends in Pennsylvania, and took the chance to travel up to see them during a warm summer weekend. While always too short of a trip, it was definitely a sweet time all together!
Hosting Some Buddies

Boston Means Food, Fun and Baseball!
We headed north for 4th of July to spend the long weekend eating well, playing a lot and taking in some famous sites. It was hotter than normal, but that didn’t stop an action-packed first part of the weekend – with Faneuil Hall, North End, a city tour and time at Fenway Park!
On to First Grade
What a school year it’s been. Thanks to the guidance of Ms. Gutowski and Ms. Burns, Colin has completed Kindergarten. He celebrated with a little graduation ceremony by the Extended Day program, and some fun extra treats to round out the school year!
A Father’s Day on the Field
It turns out we may have spent a Father’s Day or two at Camden Yards. But there were a lot of firsts on this one, with special time on the field before the game. It was a 90-degree sauna of a day, with a game that went into extra innings, but it was unforgettable nonetheless!
