Mother’s Day 2018

Mother’s Day weekend came and went quickly with an action-packed weekend around town. What began with some tee ball and a trip to Shirlington for lunch, ended with a lovely brunch in DC and dinner by the house. Being spoiled was tough to give up!

Fiesta 5K in 2018

For the 5th year in a row, we’ve had the opportunity to participate in the Fiesta 5K to support the Johns Hopkins Packard Center for ALS research. Colin was in a competitive mood and determined to finish first for Team Big Walt and Mike (he succeeded with a time of 48 minutes and 31 seconds)….

A Punta Cana Round Up

After a series of blog posts about our trip to Punta Cana, we had to share just one more round up of our final memories!

A Shoot by the Sea

Having a great experience last year, we decided to spring for a photo shoot among the palm trees and by the sea in Punta Cana. While it was a bit hot and sticky, the boys stuck it out, and we have some nice photos to show for it!

A Day at Sea

Thanks to new friends at Hispaniola Aquatic Adventures, we got out of the resort to enjoy some time on the sea. We snorkeled, learned how to enjoy coconut water, had a fabulous meal and played around in the shallow waters. A perfect half-day on the sea!

Paradisus Paradise

As mentioned, we enjoyed our stay in Punta Cana, and specifically The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real. Here are highlights from the pool and around the resort.

Punta Cana Paradise!

Spring break this year was a true treat – 85 degree, sunny days in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We made the most of the sun and headed to the beach several times, a very short walk from our resort room. Here are some beach-side highlights both above and under water!

Springtime Ball

Colin’s first weekend of t-ball felt a whole lot like winter, but the cold did not dampen his enthusiasm! He, along with his team of Mariners, had a strong showing on the field and off (they know how to have a good time on the playground too!).

Easter 2018!

Another year and another fabulous Easter! There were a few firsts this year though, as it was the first time the Easter Bunny visited the Tucker residence, and the first family Easter brunch. After the morning together, the afternoon was all about family time with great company, food and time outside hunting eggs!
