Colin’s first school play – the Three Piggy Opera – was a 25-minute spectacle full of laughs, cries (from the laughing) and 21 Kindergarteners singing and dancing their hearts out. Colin represented the role of Piggy #1 with true commitment. A star is born…
For the fifth year in a row, the Kohrs and Tuckers assembled for some egg dyeing chaos. Luckily, it was a nice day so they could burn a little energy outside beforehand, but it was still quite the crazy adventure nonetheless!
Compared with last year, it was a gorgeous opening day for Arlington Little League as the Mets took on the Cardinals. Colin had three at bats with some solid hits, and played the field well. Here’s to a great season!
Always up for a new adventure, the family headed to Monster Jam to watch some trucks do loud and amazing tricks. There were tricks, crashes, wipe outs and even a fire to entertain for an afternoon!

October is a special month for many reasons, especially with O and C’s birthdays on the calendar. We celebrated with both friends and family to mark the special days! Colin’s Ninja Warrior friend party was a huge hit, while we were spoiled following by having family come to the house to honor both boys.
While we’ve covered our pirate themed adventures before, we have yet to capture time as pirates closer to home. It was our second trip on the Potomac, and even better as O was able to experience all the fun. Here are some of the highlights!
Like last year, we enjoyed a quick trip to National Harbor for a change of scenery, some time in the pool and the infamous “silent disco” party. This year was much rainier than last, but that didn’t dampen our spirits as there was plenty to do indoors.
