Staycation on the Water

Like last year, we enjoyed a quick trip to National Harbor for a change of scenery, some time in the pool and the infamous “silent disco” party. This year was much rainier than last, but that didn’t dampen our spirits as there was plenty to do indoors.

All Star Day

With the MLB All Star Game in town, we had to soak up some of the action. Since many of the free activities were outside in 90+-degree heat, we sucked it up and bought tickets to FanFest for some air-conditioned fun. And, it did not disappoint! There were balloon animals, face painting, skills practices and…

Another 4th with Friends

Like last year, we enjoyed a fun 4th at home with friends! We had the extra fun of sparklers and a few fireworks that were a huge hit!

The Graduate

It’s so hard to believe, but Colin’s time at daycare is soon coming to an end. What began in Infant Class 2 will end in K-Prep with Ms. Jen, Mr. Rafi and Ms. Leandra in August. Fiesta 5K in 2018

For the 5th year in a row, we’ve had the opportunity to participate in the Fiesta 5K to support the Johns Hopkins Packard Center for ALS research. Colin was in a competitive mood and determined to finish first for Team Big Walt and Mike (he succeeded with a time of 48 minutes and 31 seconds)….

Springtime Ball

Colin’s first weekend of t-ball felt a whole lot like winter, but the cold did not dampen his enthusiasm! He, along with his team of Mariners, had a strong showing on the field and off (they know how to have a good time on the playground too!).

Easter 2018!

Another year and another fabulous Easter! There were a few firsts this year though, as it was the first time the Easter Bunny visited the Tucker residence, and the first family Easter brunch. After the morning together, the afternoon was all about family time with great company, food and time outside hunting eggs!

Springtime Snow

So we were basically snow-less all winter, and it took the first 2 days of spring to see the white stuff out in full force. Some of us were enjoying the weather, others not so much.

5th February at Great Wolf

For the fifth time in a row, we spent a cold, winter weekend in warm and wet Great Wolf Lodge. Little did we know we’d start a tradition after our trip to Florida was cancelled at the last minute so many years ago. This year, Owen was a much more active participant – and the…
