We made it!!

So after almost 24 hours, 5 in-flight movies and almost not finding our apartment, Megan and I made it safely to Abu Dhabi. We are both exhausted but promise to post some good pictures/videos tomorrow of the new digs.

Last Night

Our last night in the DC area and what better way to go out than punkin ales at Dogfish.   Something tells me we may have a hard time finding pumpkin anything in Abu Dhabi…

Small Victory!

One more stressful thing behind us – we are officially landlords! Tenants move in the day after we leave so you couldn’t ask for more than that!  Well…that and hoping they don’t burn the house down…

Our Temporary Housing

We got a little more information about where we’ll be staying for the first month in Abu Dhabi. It’s in a hotel called the Abraaj Towers at Etihad Plaza. It looks nice and has some great amenities, although the twice a week cleaning will undoubtedly be the best! Click for thumbnails for a bigger version

The House

So we’ve officially put the house on the renters’ market. Our emotional side is not excited about having strangers live in our house but the logical side realizes its silly to let sit vacant.
