MV Beach Day

It’s not a trip to Martha’s Vineyard without a visit to the beach. We had an exciting one, with breakfast at the airport, wave riding, a shark sighting and all the sun we could take in. South Beach never disappoints!

Fishing Expedition

In a family first, we ventured out on the Skipper for a fishing expedition in the waters around Martha’s Vineyard. We faced a little rain but that didn’t stop the excitement of reeling in a big one. Everyone had the chance to catch a “keeper”, helping others eat a fish feast that evening!

Up Island

With friends in tow, we saw some of the best parts of Up Island on the Vineyard, including Aquinnah for some views and lighthouse climbing, and Menemsha Hills for a 3-mile hike to the beach and back. Needless to say, we wore the kids out after a couple of days!

Back to The Vineyard

It had been four years, but we finally returned to Martha’s Vineyard to enjoy some tried and tested spots for a summer vacation. And this time, we had friends to share the experience. But first, we had an action-packed 24 hours that included some favorite destinations and a rare trip to the agricultural fair.

End of Daycare

What began in early 2013 has now come to an end – daycare for the Tucker family. From his first days with big bro at Bright Horizons, to Ballston Children’s Center and then Vinci at the start of the pandemic, Owen has experienced a lot prior to elementary school. He’s excited to join his brother,…

An Unforgettable First Concert

Colin had a true rite of passage – his first “real” concert. It was a wet, warm night at Jiffy Lube Live, but the rain didn’t damper an unforgettable experience. Not only did Colin hear pretty much all his favorite Imagine Dragon songs, he also got to shake hands with lead singer Dan Reynolds after…

First Tooth – Gone!

The youngest Tucker lost his first tooth – months before his big brother did. Luckily, we had visited the dentist just a few days before, so it was all ready for the tooth fairy! She delivered the next morning, making for an exciting start to our week!

Making the Most of NYC

We packed in a bit more adventure during our New York trip, including eating some local favorites – pizza and bagels! The National Museum of Math was our last attraction, and quite a fun one. We’ll be back again asap!

Father’s Day in the Big Apple

With a great first day under our belt, we went for an even better one given it was Father’s Day. That meant a major tourist site, some delicious BBQ, and a day ending with chocolate. A great way to celebrate our #1 dad!
