It was a rough visit for some, but both boys got some quality time with Santa at the Pentagon City mall. Colin had his list in photos on the phone, so was all set, but Owen was more worried about getting out of there quick!

Two Very Different Weekends
Nearly once a year, four colleagues-turned-friends have the chance to reconnect and enjoy a weekend away. This year was another amazing few days, and a new location – Boulder, Colorado. Can’t wait until next time, though it was perhaps a long weekend “alone” for the boys at home!
Halloween in the ‘hood
We spent our first Halloween in Cherrydale, and it didn’t disappoint! We kicked off celebrations at school, with a Halloween parade, and ended back at home for a pizza-filled block party. The great, spooky decorations at home were the icing on the cake!
