De Plane De Plane!

Enjoying a rare respite from the bitter cold, we headed to Gravelly Point Park after dropping off Nonna at the airport following a fun weekend together. It was C’s first time, and he loved every minute. Here are a few snapshots of his adventures with the airplanes.

Carb addict!

While C gets his fair share of fruits and (hidden) veggies, his true food love is carbs. We’re not sure whether to be proud, as he takes after mom and dad in that regard, or fearful of an overly bread-and-pasta-laden future ahead!

Movin’ On Up

Colin moved up from the infant to toddler room at daycare at the beginning of the year, and so far it’s been a great transition as he’s loved hanging with the “older” kids. He’s on a set schedule with the rest of the group, and participating in a whole bunch of activities – from painting…

Hitting the Tropics at Home

During the coldest day of the season (to date), we hit the tropics by visiting the US Botanical Gardens. It was Colin’s first time out and about near the Capitol. A Christmassy New Year

C spent the last day of 2013 in daycare and celebrating on New Years with his final Christmas gift from Santa (who promised to leave him a little something for when he got home from CT). All in all, a great cap to a crazy year, with the promise of more crazy, fun chaos in…

Winding Down from the Holidays

There was plenty of celebrating over the days leading up to, and including, Christmas. So, C took it pretty easy during the rest of his time in CT. But, there was still a lot to keep him entertained!

Colin’s First Year: By the Numbers

What do you get when you cross first-time parents who tracked all of Colin’s diapers and bottles, with an accountant father? A whole lot of data. In honor of his 15-month mark, here’s what we went through during Colin’s first year: 2,476 bottles totaling 86 gallons of milk/formula 2,611 diapers We don’t even want to…

Christmas Day is Here!

Gifts and kids were a theme of the day for Christmas! Between Santa and Nonna (and Papa), C was in gift overload! Luckily, there were lots of kids around to play with everything!

Christmas #2.1 of #3

Not to be outdone with all the fun of our Maryland Christmas, our time in Connecticut was a whirlwind of holiday celebrations with just as much, food, toys and family chaos. Here’s just a snippet of Christmas Eve…
