Boo at the Zoo
We did something new this year – Boo at the Zoo in the heart of DC! While a fan of their Zoo Lights holiday evenings, we opted for a sugar-focused night with 30 trick-or-treat stations. After we were done, we had enough candy to pass out on Halloween!

Weekday Birthdays
While October always brings tons of fun, it’s even better to make the most of a weekday birthday! This year, both boys celebrated midweek birthdays. And we did our best to make them special days that broke from the routine!
A Poke-Ball Blast!
Unlike last year, C wanted a party closer to home and with more of his friends. So, we created a Poke-ball, Pokemon basketball, party right at home. There was a ton of energy throughout the evening, surely a good time had by all!

Fall Festival Pros
The more you hit up a place, the more you learn how to maximize your fun. We did just that with another trip to Cox Farms. All in all, it was our seventh trip. We hit all our highlights in record time and made the most out of our fall fair day with cousins!

Not since Colin was in utero had we been to Hartland Orchard, but the visit was worth the wait! We had our pick of apples, some cider doughnuts, a tractor ride and lots of treats to make afterwards!
