A Disney Christmas

No rest for the weary, as we had another long park day during our weekend at Disney. We hit all our favorite rides, recharged with a dinner at Cinderella castle, and enjoyed Mickey’s Christmas party with more rides, shows, fireworks and a parade!

Christmas at Epcot

While we’ve enjoyed Disney at Halloween and springtime, we’ve never experienced it at Christmas. To rectify that, we had a fast-and-furious two days at the parks making most of the festive season. Our first stop was Epcot, where we took in the Festival of the Holidays, including special treats and the Candlelight Processional narrated by…

A Star Wars Milestone Bday Celebration

Happy 50th to Brian! To celebrate, we went all out with a VIP Tour of Hollywood Studios – and in particular Galaxy’s Edge – after getting off our cruise ship for the week. We saw every inch of Batuu, rode all the rides and then some, and got to experience the Disney magic one final…

Disney in the Caribbean

Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, was the final stop in our eastern Caribbean cruise. Chilly sea water and water slides dominated our short stay, but it was a memorable one!

A First Family Cruise

We set sail this spring break on the high seas for a trip to the eastern Caribbean and back. Within moments of boarding, finding out there was all-you-can-eat ice cream and soda sold Colin from the start. Owen was more impressed with seeing Mickey and friends. Here are a few highlights from being on the…

A Disney Fix

While it wasn’t exactly Disney World, we gave Owen a little Disney fix leading up to his birthday by visiting Disney on Ice. He was thrilled to see Mickey and Moana, and devastated when the show was over. So we gladly helped him drown his sorrows with some delicious Italian food and gelato in nearby…

Entering Two at Disney

Turning two at Disney World certainly can be a dream come true, and we think it was for Owen. He got to interact with a ton of characters, eat yummy treats and was even surprised with a stuffed Stormtrooper after he was sad to see them leave during lunch. Colin got a birthday treat as…

Earning Our Weight in Candy

We were very lucky to head back to Disney for another Halloween party evening. This year, we were a bit more candy-focused and managed to trick or treat our way into at least 10 pounds of sugary goodness. The rides and treats were fun, too, and we even caught up with Mickey in his costume!

The Most Magical of Kingdoms

Our second day at Disney was full of fun at the Magic Kingdom. We met more characters, went on a ton of rides and even snuck in a nap (or a trip to the pool) midday. It was our second park day in a row, so we were definitely ready for bed that night!
