More Fall Festivities!
We needed one last taste of fall before the real cold set in, and we enjoyed it at Corn Maze in the Plains…and with cousins to make it even more special!
Hooray for Fall!
Fall is the best season of the year, but sometimes early fall still feels like summer. Nevertheless, we set out for a pumpkin festival to get in the “fall” mood, as the weather was still pretty warm. And, of course, it was awesome!
VA is for Lovers!
The Tuckers spent a great day at our home state’s fair just north of Richmond. Since Carnival Eats is a favorite at home, we were all excited to try a variety of treats. And, the fair – with all the food, rides and animals – didn’t disappoint!
Away Around the Corner
While only a few miles away, a quick overnight at National Harbor felt a world away as we rang in the end of summer. Pool, “beach”, treats and more, it was a nice escape just 20 minutes down the road!
Great Grad Gathering
Our first nephew graduated high school, and we celebrated big time in the country! I think Colin might have mistaken it for his own party, with all the kids, treats and swimming! P.S. We made it to 550 posts – another reason to celebrate!
Slammin’ Start to Summer
The first weekend of summer was action-packed with the end of Super Slam Ball, a trip to the pool, Jedi Academy and other fun. Can’t wait for more adventures!
Owen’s First MLB Game
A family divided headed to Baltimore as the O’s took on the Sox in Camden Yards. Like Colin, Owen experienced his first MLB game there. As an early birthday present to Megan, the Red Sox pulled out a win!
A Howlin’ Good Time on Land
While the water park is the main attraction, there’s definitely more to Great Wolf Lodge than getting wet. Colin and Owen lived it up both in the water and on dry land.
