So, we were pretty ambitious one Saturday, with swimming lessons, time at the splash park and a birthday party in Maryland all in one day. We survived (and slept well afterwards)!

Sodor Comes to Baltimore on Mother’s Day
A Day Out with Thomas was not to be missed, especially when Thomas was as close as Baltimore! While the protests in Baltimore delayed the fun for a week, it was worth the wait. There were mini trains and big trains and rides and toys and coloring and stickers and…a ride with Thomas! Here’s how…
Food = Love
While there was plenty of good times in and around the water park this year, a recent long weekend in Williamsburg had an almost equally enjoyable activity for Colin – food! Yes, with a Dunkin Donuts at the hotel, meals out with favorites such as pizza and chips and cheese, it was a food fest!
Wet and Wild in Williamsburg

From feeding the goats, sheep and birds, to checking out the camels, zebra and snakes, it was an action-packed morning!
Getting Some Air
As if visiting New England’s fair wasn’t enough, Colin was ready for more thrills during a weekend in CT. He got his fill of adventure enjoying an air show with his cousins Alex and Adam. Beautiful weather, hands-on with airplanes, pet rocks…what more could you ask for?!
The Big E!
The Big E is essentially six state fairs in one – all just 10 minutes away from lovely Suffield, CT. Not yet two years old, C was ready to conquer all the smells, sights, sounds and tastes possible. While the hundreds of sheep calling out was a bit much for one toddler to handle, overall,…
