The weekend before Christmas was quite an adventure with a Hoyas basketball game and the journey north to CT for the holiday festivities. We even got a special visit from Santa before he set off on his big trip around the world to deliver presents!

Our 1st 2018 Christmas – MD!
Christmas came early with a family celebration in Hagerstown! From the snacking upon arrival to the inappropriate game of Cards Against Humanity, it was a weekend to be remembered!
It’s Turkey Day!
It was our second time hosting Thanksgiving, and we seem to be hitting our stride. We were so prepared that our kitchen sink decided to clog Wednesday night just to keep things interesting (it was fixed Friday). Nevertheless, everyone enjoyed some quality time and good food around the table. Until next year! And to kick-off…
Double Party Day!
October is a special month for many reasons, especially with O and C’s birthdays on the calendar. We celebrated with both friends and family to mark the special days! Colin’s Ninja Warrior friend party was a huge hit, while we were spoiled following by having family come to the house to honor both boys.
Action-Packed Weekend
Some weekends are more packed than others. With fall in full swing, we were ambitious one weekend to fit in a local fair, a campfire about “bats and blood suckers” and Disney on Ice. Here are the highlights!
Out of this World Morning
On a fateful rainy day, the Pohorylo cousins set out to explore the Udavar-Hazy center to take in all the planes and space vehicles they could handle. It was a big museum, but we managed to hit every corner, including the obligatory gift shop stop on the way out!
A Nats Welcome
We had to welcome the Pohorylos to the DC area in style, and that meant sweating it out in the August heat at Nationals Park. It was multiple hours of fun and chaos, and we wouldn’t have wanted to enjoy it any other way!
The Graduate
It’s so hard to believe, but Colin’s time at daycare is soon coming to an end. What began in Infant Class 2 will end in K-Prep with Ms. Jen, Mr. Rafi and Ms. Leandra in August. But before summer camp began in full swing, we celebrated graduation season with a night honoring the soon-to-be-Kindergartners.
Mother’s Day 2018
Mother’s Day weekend came and went quickly with an action-packed weekend around town. What began with some tee ball and a trip to Shirlington for lunch, ended with a lovely brunch in DC and dinner by the house. Being spoiled was tough to give up!
