For our pandemic summer break, there was the beach, the pool and everything in between! Here are the rest of the highlights!
While the pool was the place to be on our trip to North Carolina, the beach had its fans as well. The waves made for good splashing and riding around, though destroyed every sandcastle we built. As a bonus, we went one evening to look for crabs on the beach and weren’t disappointed.
The major perk of our vacation home in North Carolina was the private pool – which got daily use. As a bonus, there was a sandbox and a swing set for hours of backyard fun.
Despite the pandemic, we managed to have an almost-normal summer vacation. We ventured further than a cabin and headed to the beach in Duck, North Carolina – home of the famous Duck Donuts.
