For the second time in several years, we visited Clearwater during a cold front. It still didn’t stop us from having fun, however, with playground fun, a pirate cruise, mini golf and dinner overlooking the ocean!
For the second year in a row, we were lucky to catch some spring training baseball in warm, sunny Florida. The Red Sox, once again, fell to their opponent, but the many treats and 70-degree weather made up for it!
About once a year, the Golin gals gather for a weekend to reconnect and recharge – more than 15 years since sitting in the Quad. While we were unexpectedly down one, we enjoyed the food, spa and weather of Charleston for those who made it!
Some fateful bad weather steered us to Great Wolf Lodge in 2014, and we’ve been back every year since. This year proved just as fun (and exhausting) as ever!
Just as a band of snow arrived for the first time in January, the Tuckers set out for a quick escape from the cold for MLK Day weekend. The sun, sand and sea were an amazing respite before returning to reality!
We packed a lot into a short trip to Houston, including some cultural and culinary exploration, as well as time with friends to ring in the New Year!
With a few extra days off from work and school, the family headed southwest to the great state of Texas for some culture, science, friends and great food! The warmer weather was a big plus, too.
Santa Claus Village was a super fun place to be based for a couple days. While the activities like husky sleds, reindeers and snowmobiling were a thrill, the village itself had a lot to take in, too. Here’s what went down at the Arctic Circle.
While Helsinki provided some city fun, and visiting Santa was a real treat, there was tons more to do in Finland, and specifically the Arctic Circle, where the lows got down to a chilling 5 degrees. But, armed with warm winter gear and the occasional hot chocolate or spiked gloggi, we were good to go!
