Southern Living on HHI

Spring break took us a little further south to Hilton Head Island this year. The laid-back break was just what we needed to recharge. But, the outdoor exploration, copious amounts of candy and ice cream and chilly pool and beach kept our heart rates up!

Under the Sea

While a definite highlight to a quick Florida trip was breakfast with Mickey and friends, another was a day at SeaWorld! We saw every animal imaginable, and even got to have lunch with sharks swimming next to us – C’s favorite. It was a great day out for sure!

Meeting Mickey!

So, on a long weekend in Orlando, we happened to get reservations for a character breakfast at a Disney hotel. Entitled “Goofy and Friends”, we were a bit unsure who would show up with Goofy – but it was the big two: Mickey and Minnie! It was Colin’s first time meeting the characters, and after…

Howling Good Fun

Another President’s Day weekend, and another trip to Great Wolf Lodge…seems to be becoming a tradition! We avoided some of the coldest temperatures of the season with some good fun in the indoor water park.

Legomaina Up Close

C has definitely turned into a Lego fan, so hitting up Legoland when we were nearby was a no brainer! We spent A LOT of time at the Star Wars miniature exhibit, but also got to enjoy rides, shows and even a stroll in a giant nature reserve onsite. It was an exhausting, but fun…

Two Different Winter Weekends

Right before the holiday rush, the family was split up celebrating two very different winter weekends. Colin enjoyed some country living for a few days, while mom and dad headed West for Allie and Preston’s Colorado wedding. Both were amazing, yet diverse ways to spend time out and about. While Colin roamed outside enjoying 60-degree…

MV – Best of the Rest

The Vineyard has so many great things to do, that it was tough to fit it all in. We had a fair showing to keep us held over until next time! Thanks to our family for a great week!

A Fair Time

An upside to MV in August is the West Tisbury Agricultural Fair, with animals, rides, games and more varieties of fried food than one can count. Here are some of the adventures!

Deck Time Done Right

One of the best parts of a Martha’s Vineyard vacation is deck time. The end-of-the-day-drink-and-munch fest to wind down and prepare for a fun evening ahead. With as many as 7 kids 4 and under around, deck time was not necessarily the most relaxing this go around. But, it was fun nonetheless!
