Animal Fun in Aruba!

Taking a break from the beach and pool, we set out to Philip’s Animal Garden to visit some rescued animals. We saw a ton, and was able to feed a bunch – a real highlight for C!

Aruban Dining

Out of anywhere beach-side we’ve traveled, it seemed like Aruba really knew how to nail its dining scene. We had many, many options to dine with our toes in the sand, but sadly could not take advantage of it all. We did our best!

Aruuuubbbbaaaahhh!

It was a long, cold winter, but we finally got to say “ahhh” during a trip to Aruba. We spent many a day at the resort’s pools, with a little beach time to mix it up – all the while making sure there were plenty of cocktails and ice cream to celebrate a little time…

Springtime Ball

It was everyone’s first time seeing a spring training game live, though Colin’s lack of nap made it somewhat a long afternoon. We watched the Red Sox get the best of the Phillies before a (mostly) wonderful Florida weekend wrapped up.

Some Florida Sunshine

The Tuckers washed away the winter blues with a quick trip to southern Florida. What began as a snowy Friday morning, ended in 80-degree sun-filled evening – a true transformation. With limited time to enjoy, the entire weekend was basically spent in the pool under the warm sun. Counting down to our next warm adventure!

Food = Love

While there was plenty of good times in and around the water park this year, a recent long weekend in Williamsburg had an almost equally enjoyable activity for Colin – food! Yes, with a Dunkin Donuts at the hotel, meals out with favorites such as pizza and chips and cheese, it was a food fest!

Wet and Wild in Williamsburg

Fate brought us to Great Wolf Lodge last year, but our adventure in 2015 was intentional. And, we had one goal in mind – get wet and wild as much as possible! Mission accomplished with six trips to the indoor water park in only 3.5 days!

Charleston: All About Food

Charleston is most definitely known as a food destination, so we had to make the most of eating during our three-day weekend. We stuck to a genre – southern – with some BBQ mixed in for good measure. We left full and happy!

Charleston: Activity Central

Charleston was always one of those cities on the “to do” list. And, it became a reality in November for a long weekend. It was great weather, so we enjoyed lots of time walking around and being outside. Here are a few of the key places we visited and activities we conquered.
