Leaps of Faith

While we loved spending time in our resort, the best parts of a country tend to be outside resort walls. We weren’t wrong with a fun trip to Rick’s Cafe, known for its sunset views, tropical beverages and cliff jumping. We went during the day before the crowds descended and had one of the best…

Sesame Pals

It may be the last year one of us gets excited about it, but Owen was sure thrilled to spend time with Sesame Street pals during our Negril vacation. We caught nearly every show, and the big parade, plus our own character photo shoot!

Jamaican Escape

After four years (including a pandemic), the Tuckers set out for a return to Jamaica. This time we hit up Negril, and the third of three Beaches Resorts in the Caribbean. When recalling the top memories after the trip, they revolved around all you can eat and drink, though we know the pool and beach…

Mini Spring Break

Right before the world shut down, 3/4 of the Tuckers visited SW Florida for some Red Sox spring training and sunshine. While we didn’t make it to a Sox game, we returned to the area to try out Cape Coral Florida for a sunny weekend away. It was hot and just what we needed to…

Back at Great Wolf

After a three-year hiatus, we headed back to Williamsburg for Great Wolf Lodge! We barely left the resort as the boys had definitely been captivated by all the water fun, games and MagiQuest. We definitely got out 10,000 daily steps in because of that game!

Loving the FL Sun

Despite the relative cold, Fort Lauderdale proved to be a fun destination to get some winter sunshine. Fresh off an airboat, we took to a pirate ship to tour the mansions and yachts and strolled along the beach to enjoy the area. The Museum of Discovery and Science was a highlight as well!

Out in the Everglades

For MLK Day weekend, the family headed south for an (unexpectedly very cold) trip to Southern Florida. First on the to-do list was an airboat ride through the Everglades to check out some wild alligators. We saw four in total and had a great time!

More Colorado Winter Fun

While skiing and snowmobiling were two highlights, it wasn’t the only fun we had. From meeting horses, to sledding, hot tubbing and Zoo Lights, we experienced as much fun as we could among the mountains and snow.

Snowmobiling Again

One of the highlights (for the adults at least) was a snowmobile ride through a true winter wonderland to the Continental Divide. While the boys were unable to drive this time, they were in tow weaving through trees, climbing up and down hills and playing a little in the open fields. It was the coldest…
