It’s birthday season, with O soon following C. His friend party was at home with some sports video game battles, pizza and cake. Monday birthdays are never fun, but we made the most of it with presents!

A Teen in the House
A teen has entered the chat! What seems like moments ago entering the world, C has moved to the next tier of adolescent development. He had a typical long fall Saturday filled with sports, with plenty of fun treats in between.
Cox Farms Forever
The boys let us keep going, so we headed out to our favorite fall festival during the October heat wave. It was the 10th trip for us! There were new slides and adventures to be had, to add a little extra fun to the visit. And, cousins made it even better!
Growing the Family
After years of pestering, we finally broke down and got a pair of kittens – Zoro and Phoenix. The boys took a little time to get acclimated, but now they’re just part of the crew!
Back to School!
Just a couple days after we got back from Iceland, it was time for school! The same schools meant familiar places and faces but new teachers to meet. Everyone was up early and excited for the year to begin!
A Wrap Up of the Rest
From puffins to lava to horses to the Blue Lagoon, there were plenty of memorable moments outside of Reykjavik, the Golden Circle and icescapes galore.
Fun with Ice
We took plenty advantage of the activities that put “ice” in Iceland, including a trek through an ice cave, ice hiking on a glacier and darting between ice caps on a glacier lagoon boat tour.
Golden Circle Highlights
After some time in Reykjavik, we headed out and did a tour of the Golden Circle on our way eventually to Vik. Natural wonders, and in particular waterfalls, were the name of the game as we made our way westward.
A Cool Summer Started in Reykjavik
Summer vacation was a cool one in Iceland, where our first stop was about 30 hours in Reykjavik.
