We stayed home for the 4th of July – Owen’s first – and had a great time with friends. It was a little wet and wild, finished off with some fireworks that we could see from just a few blocks away. Happy birthday, USA!
We enjoyed a fun-filled weekend in July with visitors from CT. It was great to have the space for them in the new house! Come back again soon Katy, Harper and Dy!
Our first nephew graduated high school, and we celebrated big time in the country! I think Colin might have mistaken it for his own party, with all the kids, treats and swimming! P.S. We made it to 550 posts – another reason to celebrate!
The first weekend of summer was action-packed with the end of Super Slam Ball, a trip to the pool, Jedi Academy and other fun. Can’t wait for more adventures!
When you hit 11 years, and two kids, in a marriage, it’s worth a celebration! We hit up arguably the best restaurant in DC, Pineapple and Pearls, for a multi-course extravaganza and drink pairing. It was totally worth the five pounds gained from it!
When there are two little kids around, Father’s Day celebration usually means appreciating rare time alone. And, that’s what Brian got to do to celebrate the day, though there was plenty of playing around and some quality time out and about to celebrate our #1 dad!
A family divided headed to Baltimore as the O’s took on the Sox in Camden Yards. Like Colin, Owen experienced his first MLB game there. As an early birthday present to Megan, the Red Sox pulled out a win!
There was so much fun to be had in Turks and Caicos, that it couldn’t be easily captured in a few posts. Here’s a final wrap up of the adventure in the Caribbean!
Sunny days were sweeping the clouds away for sure in Turks & Caicos. And the days were made a little brighter with the presence of Sesame Street all stars at the resort. Check out some of our encounters!
