A Kennedy Center Christmas

Thanks to The Washington Chorus, we were treated to Christmas carols old and new during a night out at the Kennedy Center (the boys’ first!). There were sing-alongs, special guests and a nice evening of holiday fun!

Family Holiday Shindig

We were lucky to be able to make another Sulewski holiday family party – complete with good food, family, magic and a little mayhem!

Merry Christmas!

Another Christmas is here already – sending some holiday cheer your way!

Ready for the holidays!

With a tree in hand thanks to the local Optimist Club, we set out to decorate and remain a happy family. Overall, mission accomplished!

Santa, Baby!

We look forward to visiting our favorite big guy, Santa, all year! The boys had a relaxed catch up, filling in on all the latest with school, sports and life at home – plus sharing their wish lists of course!

Scooby Dooby Doo Halloween!

We’ve flipped the script from last year, and went with crime-fighting good guys for our family costume for Halloween. Three-fourths of us stayed true to the costume for trick or treating, while Colin joined a bunch of friends as avocados who took the neighborhood by storm. It was a mad candy rush, as always!

Kickin’ It to 7!

Owen had an action-packed 48 hours on his birthday and the day after, with a special breakfast, fun day at school, fun meal out at Melting Pot and then a soccer-themed birthday party followed by a soccer game!

Rest of Asheville

It was a lovely long weekend in Asheville, hiking, touring Biltmore and otherwise enjoying fall. Here’s a roundup of the rest of the best!

Touring the Big House

Biltmore, the largest privately owned home in the US, lived up to the expectations – taking more than an hour to walk through the areas open to the public (not even counting the gardens and other grounds). The audio tour made it informative, and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the kids’ version.
