We’re lucky to have fabulous friends in Pennsylvania, and took the chance to travel up to see them during a warm summer weekend. While always too short of a trip, it was definitely a sweet time all together!
While C has spent many nights away from home, he’s only been to one friend sleepover. Excited from that experience, he hosted a couple of friends for the night – and we all survived! Here are some highlights…
Another year, another Fiesta 5K in support of ALS research! Team Big Walt and Mike showed up in full force to remember and honor 3 great men, once again finishing in the top 10 of fundraisers. While the commentary wasn’t as interesting as last year, Colin’s determination was just as strong – and he shaved…
For the fifth year in a row, the Kohrs and Tuckers assembled for some egg dyeing chaos. Luckily, it was a nice day so they could burn a little energy outside beforehand, but it was still quite the crazy adventure nonetheless!
While we all had a great time last year, O was an even more willing participant in the fun of Halloween. With two school parades (one of which went better than the other), a block party and 90 minutes of trick-or-sprinting, it was quite a day!
October is a special month for many reasons, especially with O and C’s birthdays on the calendar. We celebrated with both friends and family to mark the special days! Colin’s Ninja Warrior friend party was a huge hit, while we were spoiled following by having family come to the house to honor both boys.
Some weekends are more packed than others. With fall in full swing, we were ambitious one weekend to fit in a local fair, a campfire about “bats and blood suckers” and Disney on Ice. Here are the highlights!
C’s very first friends have been getting together at least once a year since they were born, celebrating being brought into the world. As they all finally headed to elementary school this fall, the once-babies were totally big kids, full of energy and fun. Here’s to another great year!
Another great year was had at the Arlington County Fair. It was only slightly cooler, but a lot more active, with four fully engaged boys on the rides, eating treats and getting all the free swag they could carry!
