Colin had a great weekend at the Arlington County Fair, with not one, but two fun-filled (and warm) days with rides, games and fun with friends!

The Suite Life
We were the lucky guests of Charles Schwab in one of the suites at Nationals Park. We took full advantage of the all-you-can-eat-and-drink set up, plush seating and (relative) space for C to roam as we watched the game. Going back to regular seats will never be the same!
Father’s Day Feasting
With so much craziness the day before, Father’s Day was all about relaxing and enjoying the finer things in life – food and booze! A BBQ and beer brunch, gave way to a relaxed afternoon, followed by a Mexican dinner with ice cream for dessert. Not a bad day at all!
Birthday Fun
Nothing like a relaxing birthday, and that was totally possible because it was filled with some quality alone time (ha!). Yes, my main birthday present was a spa day, complemented by a day off of work on my actual birthday. Nevertheless, it was great to see my boys at the end of each day to…
Fun with Friends
Memorial Day weekend brought beautiful weather, and time with friends. While C and H spent time playing all around a Bethesda park, food brought everyone together for some quality time around the table. A fun afternoon catching up!
Touch a Truck Part Deux
Feeling pumped by all the snacking and sitting from their inaugural Touch a Truck experience, Colin and his buddy Aidan were back at it again for more fun with trucks, buses, motorcycles and more. They were a little more into the vehicles this go around, though the snacking was in full effect and the lure…
Sodor Comes to Baltimore on Mother’s Day
A Day Out with Thomas was not to be missed, especially when Thomas was as close as Baltimore! While the protests in Baltimore delayed the fun for a week, it was worth the wait. There were mini trains and big trains and rides and toys and coloring and stickers and…a ride with Thomas! Here’s how…
Fiesta 5K Pizza Party
Due to the protests in Baltimore, the Packard Center for ALS Research’s Fiesta 5K was unfortunately cancelled a few days before race time. We were heartened to know we were one of the top teams contributing to the nearly $250,000 raised from the race, but disappointed to miss a special day to honor some special…
Touch a Truck!
Spring had finally sprung by mid-April, and with it came the Touch a Truck event. While it took a while for C to warm up to the trucks (things like snacking and jumping off the curb were almost a little too much fun), it was an overall hit and a ton of fun with many…
