Turkey day was very close to home this year – in fact, it was in our home for the first time! It was a great day filled with good food, family and fun. We even kicked off the holiday weekend with a rare kid-free night out before the big day! Colin starts off Thanksgiving dinner…
We needed one last taste of fall before the real cold set in, and we enjoyed it at Corn Maze in the Plains…and with cousins to make it even more special!
We made it a year! It seemed like yesterday that Owen was on his way. Soon, we was here and coming home from the hospital, and then moving to a new home and now celebrating the many adventures of fall! Owen ate his cupcake like a champ, and enjoyed being spoiled by family!
Over the course of a week, Colin had not one, not two, but three parties to celebrate his fifth birthday! The first was with his PACE buddies at home, followed by a bouncy good time at Jumping Joeys, and ending with a family party back at home. As Colin noted, it was the best days…
While we spent the great majority of our trip on the beach or boardwalk in Ocean City, there was plenty of condo fun, as well as a few trips out and about in the car for food and fun games!
We were super spoiled during this year’s trip to Ocean City, staying right on the boardwalk in the thick of it all. Here are the highlights out of the water!
Another summer means another trip to Ocean City, MD. This time, Owen was able to experience the sights, smells, sounds and even a few tastes of this beach-side hot spot. While our first two days were a bust weather-wise, the weather soon rebounded and we enjoyed many days of sunshine and fun outside!
We enjoyed a fun-filled weekend in July with visitors from CT. It was great to have the space for them in the new house! Come back again soon Katy, Harper and Dy!
Our first nephew graduated high school, and we celebrated big time in the country! I think Colin might have mistaken it for his own party, with all the kids, treats and swimming! P.S. We made it to 550 posts – another reason to celebrate!
