Christmas Chaos

Once again, Christmas was the right amount of fun, magic and chaos!

A Happy Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve had a little less Zoom and a little more family, but it was still relatively low-key given omicron. You wouldn’t know it by all the noise that four boys can make it one house though!

Thanksgiving 2021

We doubled our size since Thanksgiving 2020, hosting for the first time since 2018. It was a great meal, bookended with other Thanksgiving celebrations at school and with friends!

Freedom in Fall

While the cats were away, the little mice played (with Nanie and Pop Pop)! A highlight was Summers Farm in Frederick and time in front of the fire!

Models in OBX

A rare family trip means investing in photos! While the beach was a little windier than we would have hoped, we captured memories to last a lifetime.

OBX On Dry Land

There was so much fun outside the beach and pool in Corolla – and not surprisingly, much of it involved treats! We did hit a new landmark this go around and also just enjoyed some time at the house. Here’s a recap of our OBX time on dry land…

Home Base in OBX

While the beach had plenty of sandy fun, the house pool offered a ton of space to swim, jump and play! Here’s where we ended up most afternoons…

Back to OBX

We hit up the Outer Banks for the second time in about a year, this time venturing to a home base in Corolla. The water was freezing but felt great in the heat! Here are some of our beach-based adventures…

At Home with Washington

We enjoyed a beautiful day at Mt. Vernon and got to learn more about the Revolutionary War with cousins!
