A Merry Christmas Eve and Day

It was a busy Christmas Eve and Day out and about and spending time with family. We got Sonic 3 out of our system before a hibachi lunch out. Then, it was up to Maryland to see the Tuckers and Simpsons before an exciting Christmas morning and time with the Pohorylos.

Santa and the Start of the Holidays

We enjoyed another drama-free Santa visit this year, as the boys prepared for the holiday season. They were well prepared with many ideas of how to celebrate…we’ll see if they were good enough for a happy Christmas and New Year!

Holiday Decorating!

Always an adventure, holiday decorating was a little closer to Christmas this year since we traveled over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a beautiful day to pick out a tree and support the organization that sponsors one of Owen’s soccer teams, with a fairly smooth tree decorating at home!

Last Bit of Holiday Magic

On the last day possible, we soaked up some holiday magic at Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights. It was a bright spot in one of the dreariest months of the year for sure and a tradition we’ve come to truly enjoy! With warm coats and hot chocolate, we set out to see it all!

Christmas Day 2023

We didn’t manage to sleep very well, but we were rewarded with an exciting Christmas morning filled with Santa-driven surprises and a relaxing morning to try and recuperate!

Christmas Eve Chaos

It was a gloomy Christmas Eve, but a fun one with family and a little adventure as we got out to the White House to see the National Christmas Tree before a Christmas Eve dinner and gifts with some very excited boys!

More Colorado Winter Fun

While skiing and snowmobiling were two highlights, it wasn’t the only fun we had. From meeting horses, to sledding, hot tubbing and Zoo Lights, we experienced as much fun as we could among the mountains and snow.

Snowmobiling Again

One of the highlights (for the adults at least) was a snowmobile ride through a true winter wonderland to the Continental Divide.
