After what seemed like the quickest overnight flight ever, we arrived at BKK for a week in Thailand, our first 2012 vacation. It was no rest for the weary, however, as we headed straight to the hotel for a quick shower and then out for the day. We enjoyed a great tour with our guide Mee, checking out temples, going on a river cruise and walking through a flower and fruit market.

Not nearly done with shopping, we spent the next day at the Chatuchak Weekend Market – where you could buy just about anything and everything. We took advantage of their fine, cheap suitcase selection as Brian walked out of Bangkok with two new custom-made suits!
