Our first day in the Seychelles was spent touring the nearby islands and underwater sites, getting a true feel for the best the country has to offer. We visited several great places and got to sail around Praslin Island to check out parts you could only get to by boat. First up was Curieuse Island, home to giant land turtles and a former leper colony. Then, we went snorkelling around St. Pierre and Cocos Islands (tiny spots with corals and a diversity of sea life). Finally, we ended up with an afternoon in La Digue, the third largest island in the area and home to Anse Source d’Argent, the country’s most famous and picturesque beach.
