After the initial move in and ceremonies, it was game time – 6 games, in fact, over 4 days. They started strong with a W and then had an up and down battle with an unforgettable ending. As they were winding down in their last game, coach gave the three kids who hadn’t yet pitched a chance to get an out. With his teammates cheering him on, C – who was more used to being behind the plate as backstop – struck out a kid swinging in three pitches.
