With June our last month in the UAE, it was inevitable to start saying our goodbyes. One of the first “lasts” during our time here was a final weekend in Dubai. Catching up with great folks from NYU, visiting neighborhoods and eateries old and new, and even taking on a new adventure by spending our first (and last – for a long while at least) night on the Palm Jumeirah made it one to remember.
One final brunch at Loca…
With the best guac in the UAE!
Off to the Palm Jumeirah for the night, taking in views of the Dubai skyline
The Jumeirah Zabeel Saray sure looked nice (you may have seen it in MI 4)
Only the grandest of entrances would do
Our sweet pad had the largest tub we’ve ever seen – ever!
After a lovely lunch with Ali and Sabah the next day, we went boat “shopping” in the Marina
The final stop of the weekend was the Meydan Hotel, the longest in the UAE at 1km
