Family and food – those are the terms which best describe the second half of our U.S. tour. Heading south to Williamsport, Maryland, we kicked off our “second Christmas” with a visit to Uncle Dave’s Pizza Hut, where met up with extended family, including some who were in town from Florida. Given how short our trip was, seeing them was definitely a wonderful surprise.
The rest of the trip included lots of pork, a trip to our favorite DC restaurant and lots of quality time with family. Worth every bit of the 15 hour flight!
Pizza from (the US) Il Forno – oh how we missed you!
Addison will be a real heartbreaker some day!
Seeing the extended family was a fun surprise!
Several kids added to the fun at Il Forno’s!
The “liquor sisters” enjoyed their margaritas and Irish coffees….lots of them….
The Four Horsemen….30 takes later….
My favorite gift – a “Han Solo frozen in carbonite” chocolate bar from my Star Wars buddy, Ryan
Pork sausage…for breakfast…every morning
There was no shortage of pork on this trip! We had to hit up a BBQ spot!
It wouldn’t be a night in the “country” without a good, ‘ole bonfire
