So, it’s taken 6 weeks (which doesn’t seem that bad), but all of my paperwork has been processed, culminating with getting my driver’s license today. At some point we’ll get a car so we can be relatively taxi-free! Brian still has to apply for his Emirates ID and then get a driver’s license after he (hopefully!) has his resident visa next week, so we may wait for that…
