So, before Colin hit the month mark, he had a few firsts. After two and a half weeks, he lost his umbilical cord, which means a very exciting new phase – he was ready for bath time! To say it was a disaster isn’t entirely accurate but not terribly far off. He liked getting his hair washed, so we figured it wasn’t a huge leap…we were wrong. To prevent future embarrassment, we’ll keep the nude photos out of the public eye.

Also, in anticipation of future world travels, Colin ventured out of the Arlington-Falls Church area into the “country” of Washington County, Maryland for his Pop Pop’s birthday celebration. He didn’t get to eat cake or play with his five cousins since he slept 99% of the time…but there’s plenty of time to do so in the future!
