In our quest to explore all seven Emirates that make up the UAE, we hit our 4th this week – Ajman. While the smallest of the Emirates (100 square miles – or roughly 1.5 times the size of DC), it did have a “5-star resort”. So there was no excuse not to go, especially with the amazing summer deals due to the scorching temperatures.
We definitely spent most of our time exploring the Kempinski resort – which had everything from great restaurants to cosmic bowling. But, we had to experience a little of the local life with a trip to Lulu’s (kind of like Target and Wal-Mart), as well as the sprawling Ajman Museum.
Here are a few highlights…
This is a sample call to prayer at the Ajman Museum – done 5 times daily at every mosque.
