Fresh off of Christmas, we set out for warmth with a week in the Dominican Republic. With a six-year+ gap since our last visit, we headed to the resort next door which was just being built when we were there, Melia Paradisus Grand Cana. We loved our poolside, quiet room which was close to the beach, kids club and water park.
